Independence Australia Group is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Possability Group, bringing together two purpose-driven organisations united by a deep commitment to supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.
With a proud history of providing choices and supports for people with disabilities, Independence Australia Group has grown as a social enterprise with a strong legacy of impact. The acquisition of Possability Group builds on that foundation, expanding the collective reach in the disability sector and introducing new opportunities in Child and Family Services.
This exciting step forward reflects a shared vision for a more inclusive and responsive support system across Australia. Importantly, there are no immediate changes to operations, services, or teams. The support we provide to the people who rely on us will continue without interruption or impact.
This acquisition is subject to customary approvals and transition processes, with the Executive Teams from both organisations working together to ensure a smooth integration that honours our values and commitments.
We look forward to the journey ahead, one that will enable us to do more, reach further, and strengthen the impact we make in people’s lives every day.
