Are you a woman with wheelchair or accessibility needs seeking pet-friendly accommodation near Brisbane, Qld?  We have a vacancy in our three-bedroom Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) in Pallara, which is just 25 minutes’ drive (19kms) from Brisbane CBD. One resident has a small, friendly dog and one has budgies.

The fully accessible home will suit someone with High Physical Support needs who has SDA funding in their NDIS Plan. Staff are trained in all assistive technology. There is a separate bedroom and bathroom for on-site support staff.

The airy main living space has natural lighting and a kitchen with electric, adjustable benches and an integrated cooktop. There is a living space with comfortable chairs and tables, and access to an outdoor veranda and dining area.

There is a separate lounge with a television.

The bedroom has voice and touch controlled smart lighting, automated blinds on the windows, zone-controlled air-conditioning and provision for a ceiling hoist. There is a large en-suite bathroom with an oversized shower.

The house is safe, surrounded by fencing and with full security.

Pallara has many parks and public spaces with weekly community activities. A regular bus service goes to nearby shopping centres with cafes, medical facilities and optometrists, a cinema and an employment centre for people with disabilities.
