Supported Accommodation

At Lifestyle Solutions, we have a range of flexible housing and support services that cater to your unique support needs. Our accommodation support is provided individually or within a group setting, and can range from a few hours a week through to 24-hours a day.

Our services include:

  • Residential support – 24-hour support in a small group home setting with services tailored to meet the unique requirements of each individual.
  • Drop-in support – Whether living in your own home or supported accommodation, drop-in support provides the practical support you need to live as independently as possible.
  • YPIRAC – Living options and practical support for younger people living with disability who reside in or are likely to enter a residential aged care facility.
  • Transition from out-of-home-care (Youth) – For young adults transitioning from out-of-home care, we provide guidance and support as they adapt to independent life in the wider community.
  • Supported Living Fund – We provide assistance for you to plan and co-ordinate supports under your ADHC Supported Living Fund package.

Regardless of the support type, we always focus on:

  • Building your independence;
  • Developing your involvement and participation in the community;
  • Finding opportunities for learning and development; and
  • Encouraging good communication with families, friends and circles of support.

How do I access accommodation support?

To get started, you should contact Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC), which is part of the NSW Government's Department of Family and Community Services. ADHC will determine your eligibility for funding.

Click for more information on how to apply for support. Alternatively, you can phone your regional Information Referral and Intake Team.

If you handle your own funding or have an alternate source of funding, please contact your local Lifestyle Solutions centre to find out more about how we can best help you.
