Kelley Murphy, Senior Manager at Lifestyle Solutions described the recent Open Day celebrations at the Port Stephens Community Hub on Wednesday 29 May as a big success.

“It was a great opportunity for members of the public to tour our Hub and see what wonderful community activities we’ve developed for our customers. Our dedicated team was also on hand to provide information about our disability supports and services,” said Kelley.

Throughout the day, there was a range of fun activities including art and drama workshops, rock and roll dancers from the D and C Rock and Roll Group and a free barbeque lunch provided by the Lions Club.  

The local Fingal Bay Bomboras football team and the Rural Fire Service also attended the celebrations.

“The Hub has been an excellent facilitator for our customers to really engage with their community and build their relationships and confidence.”

“It was great to see the local community get behind the event and make it a special day for our customers,” said Kelley.

Lifestyle Solutions would like to thank everyone who participated in the event and extend their special thanks to the Lions Club who provided a barbeque lunch on the day.
