Community Participation

Community Participation is for young people with moderate to high needs who are looking for an alternative to paid employment or further education.

Community Participation will assist you to build independence, create strong community connections and expand your friendship and support networks through leisure, recreational, social and cultural activities.

Using your individualised funding through Community Participation you have the freedom to choose:

  • How your support is delivered;
  • Who provides your support; and
  • What activities you take part in.

Am I eligible?

You may be eligible for Community Participation if you are 18 to 25 years-old, with moderate to high support needs and are not currently involved in full-time paid employment or education.

How do I access Community Participation?
