Work Assist Program

At Lifestyle Solutions we want to give people with disability the opportunity to engage in long-term, sustainable and supported employment because we understand the enormous impact this opportunity has on an individual's quality of life.

To address the lack of employment and training opportunities we established the Work Assist Program to:

• Identify people with disability who want to work
• Match these people with appropriate and desirable employment within Lifestyle Solutions Business Services
• Ensure relevant training and development is available and undertaken
• Promote participation and inclusion within the community
• Foster independence and self-confidence

The Work Assist Program currently employs people in:

• Wallsend Community Nursery
• The Butterfly Effect (café)
• Community Mowing Services
