Mentoring services
Through our Mentoring Services we have developed a 'person centred' program for people with a disability who are coming out of the Criminal Justice Program.
At Lifestyle Solutions the people we care for remain the focus of everything we do - a Person Centred approach to individual planning and caring.
Through consultation with all key stakeholders we develop a range of short, medium and long term goals for every individual we support.
At every opportunity participants of our Mentoring Services will be encouraged to access generic services of their choice and to participate in day programs, recreational and social activities alongside their peers in the wider community.
At all times the person we support will play an active role in day-to-day decision making process that impacts on the support they receive. They will also receive information, training and support that will allow them to:
-
know their rights
-
be respected by their peers
-
be seen as an active and valued member of the community.
At Lifestyle Solutions we understand the complexity of the issues that may lead to a person entering the criminal justice program and we recognise too the enormous value of family involvement in the lives of everyonewe support.
