Camp care
At Camp Care we cater specifically for children and young people with complex support needs and we have witnessed time and time again the profound impact these camps have on the lives of our incredible participants.
Camp Care school holiday camps run for three days (2 nights) during the April, July and October school holidays and there are up to six camps during the Christmas holiday period.
To maximise the 'camp experience' we operate in small groups with strict carer to participant ratios of 1:4. All of our indoor and outdoor pursuits at Camp Care are specifically designed to:
-
develop social and behaviour management skills
-
encourage teamwork
-
promote positive relationships with other participants and camp carers
-
engage individuals in a wide range of recreational and educational activities.
But most importantly we aim to develop, educate and empower individuals to achieve their own goals.
