Family group homes

Lifestyle Solutions has developed an out of home care service system that provides residential care, family group homes and foster care for children and young people.

Lifestyle Solutions Family Group Homes provide a therapeutic environment for children and young people aged 0 -18 years. Lifestyle Solutions Family Group Homes are staffed by professional carers employed by Lifestyle Solutions under a professional carer's agreement.

Lifestyle Solutions out of home care services are child centred, flexible and responsive. We recognise and value the involvement and place of the family in the lives of every child and young person we support.

We seek to develop and maintain community links at all levels of service provision to ensure that children and young people are connected to their local community and form a range of formal and informal support networks.

The support we provide meets the requirements of the Better Care, Better Services Standards for Children and Young People in Protection and Care.

Our team members also ensure that the social, emotional, psychological, physical and developmental needs of the children and young people in residential settings meet the standards of best practice in out of home care. Lifestyle Solutions’ service model for Family Group Homes is underpinned by a framework that is trauma-sensitive; strengths-based and resilience promoting.

But most importantly, our out of home care services exists to enhance the quality of life for the people we support.
