Lifestyle Solutions was established in Newcastle in August 2001 and commenced providing services to people with a disability in 2002. Since then the organisation has seen services expand throughout NSW, Queensland, Tasmania, Victoria, Northern Territory and Western Australia.
Our central goal is to create flexible, innovative, creative and ‘person centred solutions’ for people requiring support. This is achieved by maintaining a solid focus on the effective and efficient implementation of a range of individualised programs to maximise capacity, promote community integration and participation and ultimately, enhance the overall quality of life for people we support, their families and carers.
Much of Lifestyle Solution’s success stems from a solid grounding in person centred values, a commitment to equality and social justice and a commitment to outcomes that are meaningful for each individual. This is further enhanced by developing strong links with families, local community groups, local and State Government departments and a commitment to the recruitment and retention of the best possible staff, strong community networks and close collaboration with other services such as the internationally acclaimed Institute of Applied Behaviour Analysis (IABA).
